I am back! I hope

Well, I think I am back... I hope I can make NoSQL active and useful to those who need help with SQLite issues :)

I'll be gone!

I just wanted to let everyone know that before people started to wonder, that I will be gone from tomorrow, to sometime next week, so I might be back from Monday to maybe Friday :P

Hopefully I can start on the SQLite powered CMS then :)

Flat File CMS

I am glad to say that I will be working on a CMS, powered by SQLite.

This will be a very simple CMS, at first at least. There won't be an actual user system, for the public to register at least.

The Administrator will be able to create other administrative accounts. It will include things such as a simple (yet effective) templating system, page management, and a few other things, like a blog perhaps ;)

I will bring updates when more come, and I am not sure when I will release this, and it might be awhile. The system will be released under the GNU GPL v2 License. Along with me making this CMS, I am discontinuing my login system for this. When I get this CMS going decently, I will be in need of a few beta testers who might like to give this thing a go, when I need them, I will post about it.

Whats aldo up to?

phpLiterAdmin's development has slowed, but not stopped :0 I am slowing down on the development of phpLiterAdmin simply due to the fact I have other sites to tend to :) (The sites in the Links sidebar, 2 are mine, lol. MS Chat and NSC Networks)

Though I have slowed on phpLiterAdmin I am actually working on a flat file script =D It is a login system, it will be basic, there is no user activation system, at least at first, however, it will get the job done :)

All information will be kept in files for each individual user. So the security issue with this is anyone will be able to access the files, unless your disallow access to the folder. On 110MB you can create a directory in your root folder called unreadable, and no one can access the folder except through FTP and the File Manager, and of course through scripts :-]

I hope to get this done soon! :D

phpLiterAdmin and GZip

I have released phpLiterAdmin v0.7.2 which introduces the ability to export and import in a Gzip format.

This is also phpLiterAdmin's 1st release that has NO Bug Fixes :D (I think lol)

What is next for phpLiterAdmin? I can tell you what isn't... Row editing... It is a pain in the BUTT, I am having troubles with slashes being added and just totally get messed up :'( So row editing may not come until 1.0 or 1.x

Now, the possibilities of the next release? Probably a page to very easily create tables :-] but to be honest, after that is done, I don't know what else should be added... :x

Blog Commenting up!

The blog commenting system is done, however, I have requested for fsockopen to be turned on.

I hope I will get fsockopen activated soon so I can start allowing guests to comment.

Why do I need it on? Akismet requires fsockopen to communicate with Akismet.com and to tell if it is spam or not.
